Using Keywords Right

In trying to build my blog and create a successful home business, I have found that every book that I have studied focuses on finding and building a keywords list. What you should remember is that Search Engine Optimization does not need to be complicated. What you should do is make sure that each and every page of your site is a unique entity, and needs to be treated in the appropriate manner where SEO is concerned.

Get the Keywords Right

It is important that you make sure the selected keywords you use meet your marketing criteria. So do not pick keywords which are too general. Using keywords that are more specific will result in a higher ranking for your site. Also, it is important that you choose keywords which are suitable to your site. For example, you will find that “optimizing search engines” and “search engine optimization” have completely different rankings. Use tools like "Keyword Ninja"
to find keywords that have high traffic estimates with low competition. You may also use google adwords tool to determine which keywords are valuable. Another tool that will help you find the right keywords is "Seo Professor" .

.
Include keywords in your Page Titles

A lot of people will use either inappropriate names or their company name in the page’s titles. So it is important that you include the appropriate keywords in your title, as that is they way people carry out searches on the internet. Inclusion of keywords in your Title Tags and Meta Tags. For each page of your site, you should include the appropriate keywords within all the page’s tags. Also, take time to go over the Meta description that you use. You should make sure that any description you use is alluring and interesting to those who are visiting your site, and include keywords within it wherever possible. There are many search engines around today which use the Meta description as the thing that will be displayed in their search results.

Keywords in Content

It is important that you make sure you include keywords in the content of your site as well. But do not over do this, as too many will result in your page being discounted by the search engines. Using these basic guidelines in relation to keywords in relation to search engine optimization and you will find that your site can not help but be affected in a positive way.

There are plenty of keyword tools like "Keyword Ninja" , "Seo Professor", and "Google Adwords" that you can use to research your keywords and determine which ones are most valuable to you for your site.

I hope that this post is helpful to you. As always don't for get to get your free copy of "the secret lives of internet marketers reveled". Good luck in all your business adventures.

Meta Tags Affect Search Engine Optimization

Meta Tags originally were used to provide a proxy for information on a sites content. There are different types of meta tags. The ones we are going to discuss are: meta robots, meta description.

Meta Robots

Meta robot tags are used to control search engine spider activity at page level, there for you can control how the search engines treat your page. Being able to do this can help you improve your search engine optimization. You can use the following meta tags:

  • Index; tells the search engine to crawl this page and keep it stored in the search engine for indexing later, by default search engines assume they can index all pages, so there for the index value is generally not needed.
  • No Index; tells the search engine not to crawl, there fore the page will not be indexed.
  • Follow; tells the search engine whether to crawl a pages links, generally a search engine assumes the page as the follow value.
  • No Follow; tells the search engine not to crawl a pages links, which affects page discovery and ranking of the page.
  • No Archive; restricts search engines from saving a cached copy of a page, search engines save copies of all visible pages they have indexed, accessible through the "cached" link in the search results by default.
  • No Snippet; tells the search engine not to display descriptive text near the pages title or the pages url in the search results.
  • No Odp: tells the search engine not to use descriptive text from DMOZ in the search results.
  • No Ydir; tells the search engine not to use descriptive text from YAHOO's directory in search results.
Meta Description

Meta description tags are the keywords and keyword phrases used in the snippet of text shown below each listing in the search results, and serves as advertising copy drawing users to your site from their search results. This where keyword search tools like "Keyword Ninja"
and "Seo Professor" can help you improve your search engine ranking by helping you find the most valuable keywords and keyword phrases. All blogs typically have Meta description tags that you the author decides what to write at the end of your post. In the area that know as your post labels or tags. What you do is write a readable and compelling description using your keywords and keywords phrases. When a search is done the user will be drawn to your keyword phrases and keywords because the keywords they used to perform their search is in bold, thus if you did your research right chances are that you may draw higher click through rates for your site. SEO Starts With The Title Elements

Title elements are meant to be accurate and concise description of a sites content. In the title is where it is critical to both the user and the search engine optimization because this is where your are seen first when a search is done, results shown.

With that being said experts say that your SEO campaign should limit your title tag to 70 characters has much as possible and to use your keyword phrase as close to the beginning as possible. By keeping your keyword phrases at the beginning you are helping your SEO campaign be more helpful in search engine results as well as users are more likely to visit your page.

Start every title with a brand name mention. This will help you leverage your brand creating brand awareness and create a higher click through rate with users whom are familiar with your brand and like your brand. A lot of SEO companies suggest mentioning your brand at the end, which at times can be a better approach. You have to decide what is important to your users, and take into consideration how well known your brand is.

When creating your title keeping your SEO campaign in mind, you will want to think about users experience. Your title is the 1st thing that users see and should convey the best impression possible.

A report SEOmoz released states that 35 out of a panel of 37 SEO experts say that keyword placement starts in the title and placing keywords in your title is most important in achieving high search engine rankings.

How Search Engine Operates Affects SEO

Its very important to understand how a search engine operates because it will affect your SEO campaigns.
The 1st thing you need to know is that there are 4 functions of a search engine:
1) crawling, spidering, 2) building an index, 3) calculating relevancy and ranking, 4) serving results.

Crawling and Indexing functions

You need to think of the web as like a big city subway system full of stops. Search engines crawl through the system using the best path available which is LINKS. These links bind together all pages in existence on the internet. The search engines use automated programs called "crawlers" or "spiders" to reach all of the pages. As they search, when the pages are found the programs job is to parse the code from the pages and store selected pages in massive hard drives to be recalled later when queried. To get this done search engines built massive data centers all over the world.

Calculating relevancy and ranking then serving results

When you go online and search for something a search engine has 2 jobs to do:

1) return only results that are relevant and useful to your search
2) rank in order of perceived value to your search
This where an SEO campaign comes into play. The point of an SEO campaign is to use keywords and links that will influence how a search engines will rank your site when a search is done.

With that you can begin to see that your SEO campaign must always keep in mind 2 things,
1) your search engine optimization methods must be useful to its user, meaning that your keyword phrases need to be in the format that the user will use in their searches. Spiders and Crawlers only read html format.
2) you are dealing with 2 types of users humans and automated software.

There are some factors that bing, yahoo, and google say will affect your SEO efforts affecting your ranking they are:

YAHOO:
number of sites linking to yours
your content on your pages
updates made to indicies
testing of new products
discovery of additional sites
changes to the search algorithm

BING:
in your visible page use keywords that your users would use in their search
keep your pages to a reasonable size around 150 kb in html format without a picture
1 topic per page
make sure your page is accessible by at least 1 static link
don't put text inside of any images that you want indexed the reason is because spiders and crawlers can't see anything thats not html format

GOOGLE:
no cloaked pages, which will also get you severely penalized
again like bing make sure that your pages are accessible by at least 1 static link
post useful content
make sure your element and alt. attributes are descriptive
keep your links below 100

The limitations of search engine technology
1) search engines can't fill out online forms and because they can't every thing behind these forms remains hidden
2) poor link structures can lead to spiders not being able to crawl your entire site leaving your site minimally searched and this can lead to your pages being deemed unimportant
3) pages that use flash, frames, java applets, plug-in content , audio and video files has content that the search engines can't access
4) text not in html in the parse-able code is invisible to search engines
5) content to search matching: text not written in the format that the users will use will affect search results. You must perform a search to find the keyword phrase people are using when they search.

Building the right SEO campaign is vital to online success, some tools I suggest to help you are listed on my keywords tool list

KEYWORD NINJA : will help you build a keyword list that is accurate to what your users use when they perform a search.

BOOKMARKING DEMON: will help you find high ranking sites to link to.

SEO PROFESSOR: will help you find high ranking sites to link to as well as help you optimize your on-page and off-page factors.

Search Engine Keywords Selection

Search engines are the vehicles that drive potential
customers to your websites. But in order for visitors to
reach their destination - your website - you need to
provide them with specific and effective signs that will
direct them right to your site. You do this by creating
carefully chosen keywords.

Think of the right keywords as the Key to the city! of the
Internet. Find the exactly right words or phrases, and
presto! hoards of traffic will be pulling up to your front
door. But if your keywords are too general or too
over-used, the possibility of visitors actually making it
all the way to your site - or of seeing any real profits
from the visitors that do arrive - decreases dramatically.

Your keywords serve as the foundation of your marketing
strategy. If they are not chosen with great precision, no
matter how aggressive your marketing campaign may be, the
right people may never get the chance to find out about it.
So your first step in plotting your strategy is to gather
and evaluate keywords and phrases.

You probably think you already know EXACTLY the right words
for your search phrases. Unfortunately, if you haven't
followed certain specific steps, you are probably WRONG.
It's hard to be objective when you are right in the center
of your business network, which is the reason that you may
not be able to choose the most efficient keywords from the
inside. You need to be able to think like your customers.
And since you are a business owner and not the consumer,
your best bet is to go directly to the source.

Instead of plunging in and scribbling down a list of
potential search words and phrases yourself, ask for words
from as many potential customers as you can. You will most
likely find out that your understanding of your business
and your customers' understanding is significantly
different.

Your customer is an invaluable resource. You will find the
words you accumulate from them are words and phrases you
probably never would have considered from deep inside the
trenches of your business.

Only after you have gathered as many words and phrases from
outside resources should you add your own keyword to the
list. Once you have this list in hand, you are ready for
the next step: evaluation.

The aim of evaluation is to narrow down your list to a
small number of words and phrases that will direct the
highest number of quality visitors to your website. By
"quality visitors" I mean those consumers who are most
likely to make a purchase rather than just cruise around
your site and take off for greener pastures. In evaluating
the effectiveness of keywords, bear in mind three elements:
popularity, specificity, and motivation.

Popularity is the easiest to evaluate because it is an
objective quality. The more popular your keyword is, the
more likely the chances are that it will be typed into a
search engine which will then bring up your URL.

You can now purchase software that will rate the popularity
of keywords and phrases by giving words a number rating
based on real search engine activity. Software such as
Keyword Ninja will even suggest variations of your words and
phrases. The higher the number this software assigns to a
given keyword, the more traffic you can logically expect to
be directed to your site. The only fallacy with this
concept is the more popular the keyword is, the greater the
search engine position you will need to obtain. If you are
down at the bottom of the search results, the consumer will
probably never scroll down to find you.

Popularity isn't enough to declare a keyword a good choice.
You must move on to the next criteria, which is
specificity. The more specific your keyword is, the greater
the likelihood that the consumer who is ready to purchase
your goods or services will find you.

Let's look at a hypothetical example. Imagine that you have
obtained popularity rankings for the keyword "automobile
companies." However, your company specializes in bodywork
only. The keyword "automobile body shops" would rank lower
on the popularity scale than "automobile companies," but it
would nevertheless serve you much better. Instead of
getting a slew of people interested in everything from
buying a car to changing their oil filters, you will get
only those consumers with trashed front ends or crumpled
fenders being directed to your site. In other words,
consumers ready to buy your services are the ones who will
immediately find you. Not only that, but the greater the
specificity of your keyword is, the less competition you
will face.

The third factor is consumer motivation. Once again, this
requires putting yourself inside the mind of the customer
rather than the seller to figure out what motivation
prompts a person looking for a service or product to type
in a particular word or phrase. Let's look at another
example, such as a consumer who is searching for a job as
an IT manager in a new city. If you have to choose between
"Seattle job listings" and "Seattle IT recruiters" which do
you think will benefit the consumer more? If you were
looking for this type of specific job, which keyword would
you type in? The second one, of course! Using the second
keyword targets people who have decided on their career,
have the necessary experience, and are ready to enlist you
as their recruiter, rather than someone just out of school
who is casually trying to figure out what to do with his or
her life in between beer parties. You want to find people
who are ready to act or make a purchase, and this requires
subtle tinkering of your keywords until your find the most
specific and directly targeted phrases to bring the most
motivated traffic to you site.

Once you have chosen your keywords, your work is not done.
You must continually evaluate performance across a variety
of search engines, bearing in mind that times and trends
change, as does popular lingo. You cannot rely on your log
traffic analysis alone because it will not tell you how
many of your visitors actually made a purchase.

Luckily, some new tools have been invented to help you
judge the effectiveness of your keywords in individual
search engines. There is now software available that
analyzes consumer behavior in relation to consumer traffic.
This allows you to discern which keywords are bringing you
the most valuable customers.

This is an essential concept: numbers alone do not make a
good keyword; profits per visitor do. You need to find
keywords that direct consumers to your site who actually
buy your product, fill out your forms, or download your
product. This is the most important factor in evaluating
the efficacy of a keyword or phrase, and should be the
sword you wield when discarding and replacing ineffective
or inefficient keywords with keywords that bring in better
profits.

Ongoing analysis of tested keywords is the formula for
search engine success. This may sound like a lot of work -
and it is! But the amount of informed effort you put into
your keyword campaign is what will ultimately generate your
business' rewards.

And as always don't forget your free copy of "The secrets lives of internet marketers revealed",

Increase Your Search Engine Ranking (part 2)

Hello, on my last post I discussed the reason for optimizing
your onpage factors with your keywords and their density.
Today I will Discuss more steps you can take to achieve search
engine optimization, which will translate into an increase in your
search engine ranking.

The first search engine optimization tip we come to what is called
meta tags. I know this sounds like something out of science fiction,
but it is really just simple code. Many people believe that meta tags
are the key to high search engine rankings, but in reality, they only
have a limited effect. Still, it's worth adding them in the event that
a search engine will use meta tags in their ranking formula.

To find out if your page is set up with meta tags, you must
access the code. To do this, click the "view" button on the
browser menu bar, and select "source." This will pull up a
window revealing the underlying code that created the page.
If there are meta tags, they usually appear near the top of
the window. For example, a meta tag would read: meta
name="keywords" content=. If you do not find code that
reads like this, ask your webmaster to put them in. This
may not do much to increase your search engine rankings, but any
little boost helps.

Next, we come to the issue of link popularity. This is a
factor that is extremely important if you want to increase your
search engine ranking. Almost all search engines use link
popularity to rank your website. Link popularity is based
on the quality of the sites you have linked to from your
links page.

If you type in "free link popularity check" in a popular
search engine, the search engine will then show you what
sites are linked to your site. In the case that there
aren't many sites linked up to yours, or that the sites
that are linked up have low search engine rankings,
consider launching a link popularity campaign. Essentially,
this entails contacting quality sites and requesting that
they exchange links with your site. Of course, this
requires checking out the rankings of the websites you want
to link up with. Linking to popular, quality sites not only
will increase your search engine ranking, but it also directs more
quality traffic to your website.

Search engine rankings are extremely important for a
successful Internet marketing campaign. Before you go out
and hire a search engine optimization company, try taking
some of the simple steps listed above, and see if you can't
boost your rankings yourself. Don't ever ignore this
all-important factor in Internet marketing. Remember, the
higher your search engine ranking, the more quality
customers will be directed your way.

There are many tools for you to use to help you increase
your search engine ranking. I truly recommend ready every thing
you can on search engine optimization. Doing so and applying what
you learn will help increase your search engine ranking.

Increase Your Search Engine Ranking (part 1)

The methods employed to increase your search engine
rankings may seem like rocket science to you, so you have
probably avoided dealing with this issue. I am here to tell
you - the time has come to face your website! A high search
engine ranking for your website is so essential that if you
have the slightest desire to actually succeed in your
business, there is no way you can continue to avoid this
issue.

At least 85% of people looking for goods and services on
the Internet find websites through search engines such as
Google, Yahoo, and MSN. The idea of optimizing your pages
for high search engine rankings is to attract targeted
customers to your site who will be more than likely to make
a purchase. The higher your page comes up in search engine
results, the greater the traffic that is directed to your
website. That's what search engine optimization is about.

You can immerse yourself in all the technical information
available online to figure out how to optimize your web
pages to achieve higher rankings. Or you can look at a few
simple items on your pages, make some small adjustments,
and most likely see improved rankings quite rapidly. The
first item you should examine is the title bar on your
homepage.

The title bar is the colored bar at the top of the page.
Look at the words that appear there when you access your
home page ( mine is for ex. "work from home" ) To increase search engine rankings, the words on your homepage's title bar should include the most important
keywords or phrases, one of which would include your
company name.

Then click on all your links and examine the title bars on
the pages you access. Each title bar on every single page
of your site should contain the most important keywords and
phrases taken from the page itself. However, avoid very
long strings of keywords, keeping them to six words or
less. Avoid repeating keywords more than once in the title
bars, and make sure that identical words are not next to
each other.

The next item to put under your microscope is your website
content. Search engines generally list sites that contain
quality content rather than scintillating graphics. The
text on your site must contain the most important keywords
- the words that potential customers will be typing into
search engines to find your site.

Aim to have around 250-600 words on each page, but if this is
not desirable due to your design, aim for at least 100
carefully chosen words. If you want to achieve a high
ranking on search engines, this text is essential. However,
the search engines must be able to read the text, meaning
that the text must be in HTML and not graphic format.

To find out if your text is in HTML format, take your
cursor and try to highlight a word or two. If you are able
to do this, the text is HTML. If the text will not
highlight, it is probably in graphic form. In this case,
ask your webmaster to change the text into HTML format in
order to increase your search engine rankings.

Here is a tool that might help you "Keyword Ninja" a very unique tool that can uncover 1,000's of little known keywords from the most popular search sites like: Google.com, Yahoo.com, Bing.com, YouTube.com, and Amazon.com. If you need help its worth checking out.

I sent a timely reply to let them know that I was real and I would be happy to help them in any way possible. About an hour or two later I checked my E-mail again and I found yet another reply to the reply that I took my time to reply to in the first place. It was spam from the CEO of Craigslist.

I can not speak for anyone else but myself, this is unacceptable. It wasted my valuable time I need in order to build my business, it was a disapointment as I thought that I may have potentially sold a product and had a chance to create some repeat business.

Search Engine Optimization Company

A Search Engine Optimization Company can be an invaluable
asset in your Internet marketing campaign. They specialize
in knowing how to raise your search engine positions,
monitoring those positions on the regular basis, and
adjusting their strategies to account for undesirable
results in any given month. Since this takes a lot of time,
effort, and specialized knowledge, it can be in your best
interest to go to an outside source rather than try to
maintain high search engine positions on your own.

However, like every business, there are good companies and
there are lemons. Knowing the right questions to ask and
the criteria to look for will help you in choosing an
affordable, effective search engine optimization company.

When looking at different companies, begin by considering
the approach they employ to raise your search engine
positions. Steer clear of companies that use cloaked,
doorway, or bridge pages to raise your positions. These
techniques violate most search engine policy, and in the
worst case scenario, will only get your website severely
penalized, if not removed entirely from a search engine's
index.

A cloaked page is a page that is created which is invisible
to the regular visitor to your website. The cloaked page is
coded to detect a search engine spider and divert them to
this special page, which is set-up to artificially boost
your search engine position. Doorway or bridge pages
utilize the same concept, but often reside on an entirely
different server. Google, one of the largest and most
important search engine on the Internet, will remove your
website from their index if they detect you have cloaked
pages. Never, never employ any company that uses this
technique!

Another important element is to get a guarantee that the
company you hire will not work with your competitors while
they are working for you. Obviously, this would seriously
compromise the effectiveness of the search engine
optimization campaign. Be aware that some companies will
use the success they achieve for your website to sell their
services to your competitors. So get your guarantee in
writing, and make sure it is legally binding.

Of course, one of the most important factors you want to
check out is the company's track record of results.
However, don't take the company's word for it. They will
undoubtedly be slanting their results in order to sell
their services to you. To go beyond their simple statement
of success, ask them a few pertinent questions, and verify
their answers.

Ask them which engines they have achieved the best results
on. The ones that are important are the most popular
engines, and these are the ones you want to see good
results on. Since the popularity of search engines can
change with the landscape of the overall Internet, check
out the Nielsen Netratings page at Search Engine Watch. You
can access this at
http://www.searchenginewatch.com/article.php/2156451.

Next, find out what keywords and phrases they are claiming
great results with. It's easy to get high rankings with
unpopular words. For instance, the keyword "cat leashes"
will get high popularity ranking because no one else would
think of using it. What you are looking for is good results
using popular keywords. Check out the software Wordtracker,
available at www.wordtracker.com. You can order a free
trial, or a subscription ranging from 1 day to 1 year. This
software rates the popularity of keywords and phrases based
on actual search engine use.

Next, look for good results over an entire site that the
company claims to have successfully worked for. You want to
see a wide range of positions over a number of different
search engines using different keywords or phrases for the
entire site. Request a report for any client the company
claims to have done well for. This report should show good
positions on a number of the most popular search engines
for a variety of different, popular keywords and phrases.

When you are checking out search engine optimization
companies, make sure they have actually done the work they
are claiming to have done. Some companies will use other
company's results in order to get you to sign on with them.
If you are in doubt, call the company they are showing you
results for, and ask for the name of their search engine
optimization company.

It's important to keep in mind that a successful search
engine optimization campaign will result in maximum
exposure across a wide range of popular search engines
using a variety of keywords and phrases. This is the
formula for a successful campaign, and you should keep it
always in the forefront of your marketing strategy.

Ask the search engine optimization company you are
considering for a report that shows you rankings across a
number of popular search engines for a period of at least
six months. Remember: search engine marketing is a process
that is continual, and you need a company that not only
understands this, but keeps constant tabs on your search
engine positions. That company must also be able to adjust
its strategy in the event that search engine rankings drop.

Since search engine marketing is an on-going process, your
positions must be constantly monitored. If you want your
search engine optimization company to do this for you,
request a sample of a monthly report. It is essential that
this report should show rankings for the most popular
search engines. Don't be impressed by a report that only
shows great results for a limited number of small search
engines. These are fairly easy results to acquire. Also
confirm that the popular search engine results they are
showing you are indeed the popular search engines
currently.

Be sure the sample report the company shows you is in a
format that you can easily understand. For example, it
could be in the form of a chart that covers a period of at
least six months and presents data such as the top 50
positions broken down on a monthly basis or the top 5 pages
each month. Then, ascertain that the company you are
considering actually monitors these positions or pages
every month, and that the sample report they show you
includes findings and recommendations for the specific
site. This insures that the company will actively monitor
and make adjustments to their strategy on a continual basis
rather than simply gather statistics on your positions. You
need a company that is actively participant in your search
engine marketing campaign, not just an information
gatherer.

Obviously, your finances have to figure into your choice of
company, but bear in mind that a search engine optimization
company is crucial the success of your marketing campaign.
It is not just a casual accessory. If you cannot afford a
company that will do a thorough and reliable job for your
website, you might consider waiting until you do have the
finances in place.

If you have to find a company and can't wait for your
finances to catch up, you may be able to find an affordable
company that will also be able to supply quality, reliable
work, such as a fairly new company. Just remember that
there are risks involved with using a company without a
proven track record - and that risk is your money! Don't
take that leap unless the company can supply you with a
least a few references.

References are the most reliable indicator of a good
company. Don't use a company that won't show your
references because of any reason, confidentiality included.
Remember - even doctors will provide references! The firm
you choose should provide you with a minimum of two
references, one that is from the past, and one that is
current.

When you contact these references, be prepared to ask
precise, specific questions so that neither of your time is
wasted. Ask them what their experience was like with the
company, such as their availability to answer questions and
deal with problems and their ability to meet deadlines. Ask
the reference to rate the overall performance of the
company.

Find out if the company requested that the reference make
significant changes to their web pages that affected the
visitors coming to their site. You are looking for a search
engine optimization company that can balance the needs of
both search engines and site visitors without compromising
either.

The most essential question to ask is whether the work of
the search engine optimization company resulted in higher
profits for the reference. Without profits, it doesn't
matter whether your positions are at the top of the list or
not.

Place Your Ad For Free

In my last post I talked about using Google’s Keyword Tool, and the importance of optimizing your post, ads using keywords. Searching for keywords is something I do everyday whether its for my blog or for my advertising.

Each day after I post a new blog, I then focus on finding places to post my ad for free. There are many sites that let you post your ad for free. So far I have placed my ad for free on 21 different sites. They are as follows: weeber.com, classifiedads.com, ebayclassifiedads.com, oodle.com, pennysaver.com, webcosmo.com, freeadslist.com, beatyourprice.com, sellyourbargins.com, yardit.com, jihoy.com, jasperdaily.com, tedlist.com, porkypost.com, craigslist.com, classifiedforfree.com, domesticsale.com, ksl.com, freecitylinks.com, salesspider.com, spokaneads.net.

I am trying to post at least 5 ads for free each day. To find sources to place your ad for free, just perform a google search for “free classifieds”, You will find virtually unlimited sources to place your ad for free.

So to get started placing your ad for free perform the following steps:

1) search for your words related to your product.
2) perform a google search for free classifieds.
3) write your classified ad that you want to place.

When writing your ad keep in mind :
1) make your ad appealing to the buyer,
2) make it appealing to the search engines, use your keywords if possible in your title.
3) Make your title/subject interesting
4) Add a good related picture, a picture is worth a 1000 words, especially when your are placing your free ad online.
5) Write really good ad copy. The length is not really all that important as long as you list the benefits and features of your product.
6) let the reader know why they need your product.
7) let the reader know why your product is better than other products out in the market.

Next place your ad for free, make sure that you add your ad to the right category. This will insure that your free ad is seen by the right group of people and won’t get deleted by the classified site that you are posting your ad for free on. As you are doing this devise a means of tracking your ads so that you know when your ad expires, what locations your ads are being shown in. I am tracking my free classified using posterboard, it cost me $3 and I am able to see when my free ads started running, where they are, when they expire.

This is my method of tracking my ad for free, until I learn more. Some sites not only will allow you to place your ad for free, but they also will feature your ad for a fee. Some sites also offer advertisement tools that will allow you to print off posters, flyers so that you can advertise offline in your local community, by placing posters or flyers at your local supermarkets, laundry mats, on telephone poles and so on. Bottom line your ad was free and you are exposing your product to hundreds, maybe even thousands of potential customers.

So get out there and start placing your free ads, and good luck with your sales. I hope that this post helps anyone looking for help. Also don’t forget to get your free copy of “ The Secret Lives of Internet Marketers Revealed”. Please go to http://www.easyebookrights.com/secretlives/.

Until next time may we all find success in our business endeavors.

Using Google’s Keyword Tool

Hello,

I started out the day today they wanting to write about Google Adsense, decided to talk about searching for keywords, and why I am doing so.

First thing I did was logged into my Google Adwords account,( If you don’t have one it is easy to set one up, activation cost a one time fee of $5. ITS VERY IMPORTANT TO PAUSE YOUR AD CAMPAIGNE UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO START POSTING) once logged in I went to a tab marked “ Reporting and Tools”. When you click on it a drop down menu appears, go down to “Keyword Tool”, Click on it and you are taken to a page that will allow you to search for keywords or keyword phrases.

On this page look for these words:
Find keywords
Based on one or both of the following:
Word or phrase (one per line)

This will be where you enter your search words or phrases. Now I decided to search for keyword searches and keyword search tools. A list comes up and the course instructed me to look for 2 things:

1) which keywords have high pay-per-click values, and high bidder densities.
2) very few competing sites for non-sponsored results.

In a nut shell this means find keywords that have few competitors and high keyword bids. Then you want to develop your site, or in this case my article around my keyword search results, doing so will optimize my article and help me attract the Adsense ads that will pay me the most, and in theory help drive traffic to my blog.

How to determine which keywords have high pay-per-click values: on the right side of the page you will see 2 tabs, 1) relevance, 2) columns. Now I selected columns, on the drop down menu I selected competition, global monthly searches, local monthly searches, estimated avg. cpc. Now I can see how much competition there is for “keyword search”. I can see how many searches are being done using this particular keyword and all phrases, related to this keyword, both globally and locally. Lastly I can see which keywords or phrases have a high pay-per-click price.

With that done I have decided to optimize my article for “keyword search”. Now this work at home instructs me to use the keywords I am wanting to optimize for 6 times for about every 300 words, which should come out to 1.5% keyword usage.

Now from what I understand, all I have to do is repeat this process every time that I am planning out my next post. The keyword search helps you to optimize the search engine so that you become more visible to searches related to your product or blog, as well doing so should help you to have the best Google Adsense ads for your blog be displayed.

This is only one means of SEO and overtime should drive traffic to you, at least thats what I am being taught.

Before I say bye I want to give you a web site that you can get a FREE copy of “ The Secret Lives of Internet Marketers Revealed”. PLease go to http://www.easyebookrights.com/secretlives/

I hope that my post helps me help others, and may I find some help from the blogesphere on the importance of keyword searchs and SEO.

Starting a work at home business

In the previous post I wrote a article promoting a digital product called "Your Cheating Spouse". Why? Well lets go back to 2007.

In 2007 around October I had started to research work at home businesses and jobs, I was sick and tired of busting my but everyday for someone else and living pay check to pay check. In my research I found an opportunity for a work at home business, it was only $ 30 or so, it involved no face to face selling, no huge startup cost, or so it seemed. The course was called “Typing For Cash”. The course basically taught me how to sign up for a google account, paypal account, clickbank account, and a blog.

In 2007 the 1st thing that I did was sign up for a google email address from gmail, which made since because next I signed up for google adsense. The sign up process’s are pretty straight forward, if I had any problems their is plenty of help topics for solutions, although finding the solutions can be pretty time consuming.

Next I signed up for a blog on zoofer.com, a must for my work at home venture. I also signed up for blogger.com, for a blog here on blogger. Then finally I signed up at clickbank.com to become an affiliate marketer.

I was about to find out how working at home was alot of work with no success, to speak of, I had made $26.26 in 3 years, with typing for cash. I was very frustrated with the results I was getting with my new work at home business, and eventually gave up until recently, when I started looking for a way to own my own work at home business that was legit!! Again!!

In 2007 I started blogging and posting classified ads promoting products for my work at home business, which I got from click bank. For the 1st month I posted new articles daily, trying to understand and use key words to optimize my search engine results, to get a higher page rank.

After a few months of working hard and being frustrated I gave up. I continued to keep check on my accounts and since then have sold a couple products, but didn’t get paid for some reason. Altogether I had earned around $60. Thats both the products and adsense ads combined.

So here I am in November of 2010 and again I am trying to start a work at home business. The difference this time is that this particular work at home course I came across as a result of doing research on working at home and found an investigative report on my local news stations web site. The news interviewed a women that they found when doing their research on legitimate work at home opportunities, she lives right here in my home town and since 2009 has been earning at least $5,000 a month since 4 weeks after she started!!!!!

I bought the course and not surprising to me it is exactly what I got into 3yrs. ago.

Ok, I know what you may be thinking, why try the same type of work at home business again? Right?

Well, this time around, 1) I know that someone local is earning a decent amount of $$$$ working at home, 2) After looking over all the material that came with the course, knowing from my work at home adventure in 2007,I know that everything I need as far as info to succeed, seems to be here.

Now with that being said, the company that I bought the course from offers 1 on 1 coaching, for which I can not afford right.

But I am convinced that anyone can start a work at home business like this and succeed, with a coach would be the best but as I said I will be building my work at home business without that luxury.

This course starts out in the same manner as typing for cash, but I had to sign up for a domain and hosting with hostgator.com. I had to start blogging again, create my own site, located at www.getziggys.com. And of course start promoting my product using classifieds, blogging, and soon google ad words campaignes.

So now you know why I am writing this blog, my hope is that through my sucesses and failures that I may learn while I help others avoid costly mistakes with starting their work at home adventures.

I hope that any one whom as advice will feel welcome to share by linking to me and leaving comments.

I will be updating my post at least 3-4 times a week with articles outlining the steps I am taking to build this work at home business. Until next time may you succeed in your adventures!!

Catch your cheating spouse

Have you ever wondered if your significant other is cheating on you? In today's world it seems that more and more you hear about infidelity in relationships, so much so that there is the T.V. show, “Cheaters".
The show is about men and woman that suspect they are being cheated on, and they contact "Cheaters" to have them investigate the activities of their loved ones, to find out if they are cheating on them. This is all filmed and edited, then aired on T.V., in exchange for the cost involved for the investigators.
It seems like an extreme step to take to find out the truth when you consider that both parties involved could face embarrassment and humiliation in a public forum. But then what else can a person do if they can’t afford to pay for such an investigation? The average cost per hour is around $50/per hour, and ranges any where from $30 to as high as $200/per hour!!!

You can try to catch your cheating spouse on your own, but where do you start? If you don’t have any investigative experience, you could be facing a tough time trying to catch your spouse or significant other cheating. A lot of time could be wasted; life might get stressful as well when you are trying to catch your cheating spouse. Even when it is all said and done you might not even be accurate in truth.

Fortunately, there are some eBooks and courses that will allow you to learn and use tips that experts use when they are investigating. I have found an eBook course for around $25 that will teach you the same techniques that the professionals use, called “Your Cheating Spouse: Find Out if Your Spouse is cheating on you”.

You can investigate yourself, and know 100% that you have disclosed the truth about your relationship. You will no longer battle low self esteem, depression, anxiety, or sleepless nights, because your spouse is cheating. You will have all the support and techniques you need once you become a member of “Your Cheating Spouse”.

Not only can you find out how to catch your cheating spouse, but you learn how to investigate the same way the professionals do, allowing you to save money, and maybe even find yourself a new career. So for those in need of a private eye, but unable to pay such high cost, I hope that this will help you.

Good luck, and I hope you that your supisicions are wrong.
